Guided practice · about 10 minutes

From feeling to action.

A somatic inquiry in three movements. Find a quiet place, and take it at your own pace.

“Set aside why you think you're here for a moment.

The Practice of Setting Aside

Before we can feel what's present, we must create space. Setting aside isn't about dismissing your reasons. It's about temporarily parking the mind's explanations to make room for the body's wisdom.

Notice what happens when you:

  • Release the need to justify your presence
  • Let go of the story about why you came
  • Suspend the agenda you arrived with

This isn't forgetting. It's creating a pause between intention and experience, a space where something new can emerge.

“Breathe in. As you exhale, imagine placing your reasons for being here on a shelf. They'll be there when you return. For now, just notice what it's like to be here without them.”
