What clarity mapping is
Guided reflection is time, with a structure, to look honestly at your life: what you do, what you want, and where the two have drifted apart. It is done after the body has settled, so what you see is clearer and kinder.
A simple inquiry in three movements
You can try a ten-minute version yourself in the guided practice in our journal.
- Set aside. Put down, for a moment, why you think you are here.
- Feel into. Notice what it is like to be here, in the body, right now.
- Act from. From that feeling, ask what you want to do.
What you leave with
A clearer picture of where you are living by other people's expectations, a small number of honest questions, and the beginnings of what you want to change. We do not hand out answers, because they would not be yours.
Written, spoken and quiet
Reflection happens in different forms: writing in a notebook, speaking in a pair or a circle, and sitting quietly. Use whatever helps you hear yourself.
How much of the retreat it fills
Reflection and clarity mapping are about 15–20% of the programme, followed by rest, nature and six months of integration.
